Week 2 we traveled from Wednesday to Saturday, so the beginning of the week was pretty relaxed.
Monday we had journals to do for the Humanities class, and needed to go look at portraits. How great is it that we can go to the National Gallery every week and see the paintings in person?!
PS. These are the steps in Mary Poppins "Feed the Birds". :)
Wednesday we got on the coach and headed to Manchester, then stayed the night in Ambleside.
We went to a museum in Manchester, and they had an interactive area. There was a large wall of suitcases and it asked you to write down where you wanted to be right then. So I wrote that I wanted to be with Joel in Hawaii. That means we had been sealed in the temple!
Right outside of the Manchester Museum was the Liverpool Football (soccer) team bus! The team was out to lunch..barely missed them!
*I took that picture just for you Joel Hulbert!
Thursday we traveled a little while to a house with an incredible view. The house belonged to John Ruskin. It snowed, but was still a gorgeous view!
Thursday we also went to Castlerigg Stone Circle (similar to Stonehenge). We also visited Preston, where President Hinkley served his mission. Also where the first baptisms of the LDS church took place.
PS. This is Kayla. She is pretty cool..:)
We spent two nights in Ambleside, Friday we headed over to Liverpool and saw the Beatles museum!
We were able to dress up just like the Beatles! Can you guess who is who? ;)
(Erin, Kayla, Hayley, Chelsea)
We got back to London Saturday night. The trip was long, but we saw so much!
