Week 3 & 4

I need to combine week 3 and 4 because unfortunately I don't remember everything I did during the 3rd week. :) Sad I know. 

Week 3:

We didn't go anywhere, just relaxed and worked on school/homework. I did go shopping for the first time and experience Primark! Best store every created. 

While we were out shopping we discovered Ben's Cookies. Basically the BEST cookies that you will ever have in your life. :)

You might have heard of the store Harrods? It is the largest department store in the WORLD! And they have the best donuts that I have ever had. So London is giving me the best desserts, and a few extra pounds. :P

Friday there was a new Hollywood exhibit opening at the Victoria-Albert Museum. They held a big party for you to come dressed up as your favorite Actor/Actress. We did what we could with the limited resources that we have here. :) Unfortunately the actual exhibit cost money, but they had a lot of other activities to keep busy. It was really fun!

I decided that my character was Doris Day.. :)

A group of us decided to go out one night and see the city! Big Ben and the London Eye are gorgeous all lit up!

 Week 4:

We went on another trip to Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon.

We left early Wednesday morning and headed to Oxford University! It was a really pretty campus that is spread out! The interesting thing about Oxford is that it is made up of a bunch of different colleges. We toured Christ's College, where yes, Harry Potter was filmed!!

THE GREAT HALL. They actually use this hall for eating every day. The directors for Harry Potter only used this in the first movie, then created a replica for the rest of the movies. Surprisingly it is not as big as it looks in Harry Potter. Thank You camera effects! 

Surprise. I have been accepted to Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 

Anyone want to play Quidditch?! I don't know if this is true..but this courtyard looks EXACTLY like where Harry rides his broom for the first time!

Saturday we went to Warwick Castle and Coventry. We were able to tour around the castle and see a bird show! That was pretty neat. I don't have any pictures of Coventry, but we saw an old cathedral that was bombed during WWII.
